Police have received a report of fireworks being set off, causing a loud noise and lighting up the sky.

Law-Fire-EMS Dispatch 1 · 0:37
Orange County, New Ulm Cars. Someone could check out the area of 5th, South, and Front. Party that lives on South Valley, 500 block of South Valley, said that somebody had set off probably some sort of fireworks. He said it was loud enough that the house rattled and pretty much lit up the sky for a little bit. Possibly the corner house. He said the people at that location are kind of outside in the garage, giggling and laughing. Can't say for positive that that's where it came from, but thought it should be checked out.
